It's time for change in District 11 and San Francisco

I am running for Supervisor of District 11 in San Francisco and here is why:

Originally from Argentina, I have been living in San Francisco since 1998, where I met my wife and started a family.

I love our city, but in some ways our quality of life has gone down, so much so, that our family considered moving. But that is not what I want to do. We decided to stay and do everything in our power to improve the city we love. For me, that meant running for Supervisor.

I believe in protecting the environment, I believe in high quality public education for all, I care deeply about safe and clean streets, and I am running for supervisor because we need a compelling change where we live and where we work!

The issue of the homeless requires critical evaluation. The situation has become progressively more important and difficult. I believe that we must have compassion towards those less fortunate; but we must also have compassion for the other residents of San Francisco. The solutions that have been tried so far are obviously not working as one can see at virtually any freeway underpass, any public park, and many of our streets.

My campaign is completely self-funded.  I am a man of modest means with a family. But, in running for office I want to have complete transparency and not owe favors to anyone. I am running a campaign without donations of any kind, even from individuals. I ask those who can afford to donate any money to give it directly to someone they know that lost their job or is otherwise in need of support.

I am also keeping my printed campaign materials to a bare minimum. This partly due to my financial limits, but also it is important to me to be consistent with my environmental goals of consuming as little as possible. My campaign is organic, my constituency is not donors but every resident of District 11, and I hope to talk to as many of you as possible.
